Who we are?

Płock Industrial and Technological Park (PPPT) is an investment area managed by Płock Industrial and Technological Park S.A. (Płocki Park Przemysłowo-Technologiczny S.A.). It covers an area of over 200 hectares within the local plan of spatial development where there coexist three connected components: an industrial park, a technological park and a research and development park.

We are a joint undertaking of the self-government of the Municipality of Płock and PKN ORLEN S.A., founded to create attractive conditions for the development of enterprises.

It is our mission to create and keep developing an important European economic centre, based on modern industries and technologies, where the entrepreneurs can find convenient conditions to run their business.

Our profile

The output profile of PPPT is defined by the basic operations of PKN ORLEN S.A., Basell Orlen Polyolefins Sp. z o.o. and PCC Rokita S.A., and also the existent local production and industrial potential together with research and development units active in the field of economy related to chemistry and linked branches, the environmental protection, wastes management and recycling, logistics, financial services, research and development works, information technology and telecommunication.

The raw material and product base offered by the ORLEN Group and the companies from the nearest economic surroundings of PPPT allow for the location and conduct of wide-range industrial, production and service businesses.

Where we are

Płock Industrial and Technological Park is located in Płock - a town in the North-Western part of the Mazovian Province. The investment areas and our seat with an administrative complex are located in the Northern boundaries of the town in a direct neighbourhood of the refining and petrochemical facility and the seat of PKN ORLEN S.A.

Our central location in relation to the capitals of the Central and Eastern Europe countries and the largest cities of Poland is an asset. It is near to every place from our town. The most important municipal agglomerations and economic centres of Central Poland such as Warsaw, Łódź or Toruń, are about a 100 km away from Płock.

Near Płock, there run the most important road itineraries and the road infrastructure has been developing. Two international roads No 1 Gdańsk - Ostrawa and No 2 Moskwa - Berlin cross each other in the neighbourhood. Shortly, the A-1 motorway North - South and A-2 East - West, shall be completed and they will cross near Płock, similarly to the express road S-10 Warsaw - Szczecin.

It takes only two hours to get to the largest airport in Poland named after Chopin in Warsaw and the planned regional airport in Modlin shall be only forty five minutes away. It takes less than an hour to get to Kutno - an important international railway junction. In Płock, there is also a small airport which can receive small aircrafts and helicopters.

 

 

Offer for BPO and SSC investors

We dedicate our offer to the investors from the sector of modern services, planning to operate in the centres of business processes outsourcing (BPO - Business Process Outsourcing Centres), shared service centres (SSC - Shared Services Centres) or Centres of Excellence.

In 2013, we finished a modern complex of buildings for the Business Services Centre, made in the best building, technological and quality standards, designed for BPO and SSC investors.

The buildings shall be in a place only 5 minutes away from the Warsaw University of Technology - the Płock School of Technical and Social Sciences. The car ride to the centre of the town shall take only 10 minutes from here. The location of the complex is well communicated with Warsaw, Łódź and Toruń by a network of existing roads. The motorways and express roads which are nearly completed, with itineraries going close to Płock, shall ensure an easy and comfortable access to the centre. The Chopin International Airport in Warsaw is less than two hours away from the centre whereas the regional airport in Modlin, being under construction, shall be 45 minutes away.

The Business Services Centre shall be placed in the direct environs of PKN ORLEN S.A., ORLEN Group Companies and the main European and Polish manufacturers and service providers of the chemical industry.

The Business Services Centre shall be made of the Corporate Services Centre and the Data Centre with specialized functions to implement outsourcing services and processes.

The Corporate Services Centre takes up a three-winged A class building of a usable area of about 9.500 m2, ready to run financial, accounting, IT, human resources management, sales and purchases processes together with a wide-range of knowledge process outsourcing services. The building shall be equipped with modern office areas, conference halls, premises of open-space type and areas of joint utility. All premises shall be characterised by a perfect quality of furnishings with versatile technical services, air conditioning, central monitoring, reliable telecommunication system, air humidity control, and double electricity supply or emergency power support system. Modern high speed lifts shall ensure an efficient communication inside the building. It shall be supplied with all necessary utilities, and the area around the building shall be developed with internal routes, car parks and greenery. 

 

Project of the Corporate Services Center

 

The Data Centre takes up two buildings of a maximum area of 3.500 m2, offered to investors who are active in the outsourcing of information technology (ITO) and research and development services related thereto.

The technological building of the Data Centre shall fulfill a function of electronic calculation centre of Tier III class, designed as a one-storey building with the following separated:

  • the technical part - a server room of a total area of about 1.000 m2, with a technical background to serve the systems of air-conditioning, supply and security for the server room,
  • the social and office part together with the warehouse and premises for the technical services of infrastructure for the centre.

The research-administrative building of the Data Centre is a class A building of a usable area of 2.500 m2, equipped with modern office areas, conference halls, open-space type premises and those of joint use. All premises shall be characterised by a perfect quality of furnishings with versatile technical services, air-conditioning, central monitoring, reliable telecommunication system, control of air humidity and double electricity supply or emergency power support system. Modern high speed lifts shall ensure an efficient communication inside the building. The building shall be supplied with all necessary utilities and the area around it shall have internal itineraries, car parks and greenery.

The skeleton construction of the building of the Business Services Centre shall give our Clients unlimited possibilities to arrange the area whereas its wings or storeys may be used as independent functional units.

The Business Services Centre is a part of a wider development programme of the Płock Industrial and Technological Park placed on the list of the key projects of the Regional Operational Programme of the Mazovian Province 2007-2013, co-financed from the European Union funds.


Offer for R & D investors

We address our offer also to the investors active in a widely understood industry of research, development and implementation services.
 
In 2013, we have built a modern complex of Central Laboratory of 6.500 m2 area, composed of a laboratory with technological premises of a usable area of about 5.400 m2 and a class A administrative building of a total area of about 1.100 m2 with air-conditioning for all premises, central monitoring, conference halls, areas of joint use and structural cabling. The laboratory complex shall be supplied with all necessary utilities and the area around the building shall cover internal itineraries, car park and greenery.

The Central Laboratory is a part of a wider development programme of the Płock Industrial and Technological Park placed on the list of the key projects of the Regional Operational Programme of the Mazovian Province 2007-2013, co-financed from the European Union funds.

Investment grounds for industrial investors

Our offer also covers investment areas divided into zones, profiled for services and production, as well as, industry and production for investors interested in having here their manufacturing centres.

The PPPT investment zones are located in the direct environs of the refining and petrochemical facility of PKN ORLEN S.A., ORLEN Group Companies and main European and Polish production and service companies of the chemical industry.

The zones are only 10 minutes away from the town centre. The areas are well communicated with Warsaw, Łódź and Toruń through the network of the existing roads. The motorways and express roads which are being completed, whose itinerary is planned to run near Płock, shall ensure an easy and comfortable access to the zones. The Chopin International Airport in Warsaw is less than two hours away and the regional airport in Modlin shall be available in less than 45 minutes.

Production and industry zones

The production and industry area of PPPT is made up of investment zones no I and II. The preferred investments for these grounds are industrial, technological operations, R & D and project introductions with a particular focus on chemical and bio-chemical production, processing of crude oil and refining. The whole area totals approximately 60 ha of the investment grounds situated within administrative borders of the City of Płock.

ZONE I and ZONE II are both situated east of the production facilities of PKN ORLEN, in the neighbourhood of the refinery’s railway junction, and Basell ORLEN Polyolefins - a global leader in plastics production. Each plot is easily accessible from Płock city centre via Łukasiewicza Street and via Długa Street. The distance between the centre of the city and the areas is approximately 7km.

Administrative and production zones

Administrative and production area of PPPT is made up of zones no III, IV, V, VI with the total area of ca. 106 ha. The preferred investments for these grounds are industrial and technological operations, administrative and office services, R & D.

All of the administrative and production area enjoys very convenient access from Płock city centre. The distance between the area and the PPPT Headquarters is approximately 2,5km.

Almost 9.3 km of newly constructed, local roads allow smooth travel within and among the administrative and production area of PPPT. The entire network is made out of hard edged, one-strip roads with lighting and vertical and on-the-road street signs. Both one- and two-way roads are between 5 - 7m wide and equipped with pavements up to 2m wide.

The internal transport network of PPPT links directly in 7 points to the municipal network ensuring easy entrance and exit of the investment areas.

Administrative and production area is equipped with water, sewage, gas, central heating, telecommunication and electricity network.

ZONE III comprises ca. 40 ha of grounds assigned to administrative services, scientific research, as well as technological and industrial operations. The plot is completely fitted and equipped with the media and facilities required for business performance. Investment modules within the zone are communicated by internal asphalt roads 5 - 6m wide and equipped with pavements up to 2m wide.

ZONE VII of ca. 24 ha is utterly used by the companies and is not currently offered to investors.

ZONE VIII of ca. 3,5 ha is already exclusively assigned to PCC Rokita, a company that is to construct an Ethoxylate Generation Plant.

ZONE IX of ca. 3,5 ha is already exclusively assigned to Flexpol, a company that is to construct a production facility manufacturing oriented BOPP foils.

The companies which are determined to invest in the Płock Industrial and Technological Park may count on attractive investment incentives in the field of real property tax exemptions. The main privilege, arising from this title is the exemption from the tax on real property within the programme of regional aid to support new investments for entrepreneurs who run business within PPPT. The period of exemption is correspondingly:

  • 10 years - if the value of costs eligible for the assistance is lower or equal to 10 million PLN,
  • 15 years - if the value of costs eligible for assistance exceeds 10 million PLN.

Another investment relief is the exemption from the tax on real property within the regional aid programme to support new investments of innovative entrepreneurs or those who run research and development business in the town of Płock.

Investments in the territory of PPPT may be granted the status of a special economic zone which means an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to apply for an exemption from the income tax.

We also offer a complex assistance package in the field of acquiring human resources which covers the organisation of recruitment and staff training in compliance with the expectations of the investors.

We guarantee a training support

Our investors may use the services of Education Centre, a training and consulting company with the capital share of the Płock Industrial and Technological Park S.A., which offers a wide range of training, workshops, post-graduation studies, courses of vocational continued education, giving the potential to obtain vocational licences and language courses at any level of learning. The specificity of the Centre is the experience and professionalism of the lecturers and the potential to customize training programmes and individual studies to the needs of the client. The company cooperates with renowned universities in Poland: the Warsaw School of Economics, the Kozminski University, the University of Łódz, the Cracow University of Technology or Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology.

We are a reliable partner

As the first industrial and technological park in Poland, we have signed a partner agreement with the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (Polska Agencja Informacji i Inwestycji Zagranicznych - PAIiIZ) on joint marketing and promotion activities to strengthen the acquisition processes of investors. The agency appreciated the investment area of the Płock Industrial and Technological Park awarding it in 2007 the first place in the Mazovian Province within the second all Poland Competition “Golden Sites”.

Płock is an academic town of strong scientific traditions. Nearly 11 thousand students get educated in universities of technology and humanities. Warsaw University of Technology (branch in Płock) offers engineer education, specialised in building, mechanics, machine construction, environmental engineering and chemical technology and educates future economists specialised in industry and information technology in economics. Institutes of economic sciences, modern languages, mathematics and information technology are run by the State Higher Vocational School and the Paweł Włodkowic Higher School educates specialists in management, administration and information technology.

All Płock higher schools have a rich offer of post-graduation studies in the field of economic sciences, finance management and human resources, marketing, entrepreneurship, information technology and information techniques.
