Poland’s gross domestic product grew by 3.3 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2014, according to a flash estimate published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) on Friday.
Seasonally adjusted GDP growth was 3.4 percent y/y and 0.9 percent quarter-to-quarter.
Economists had expected the GDP growth in Q3 to be lower, at 2.8 percent y/y.
The statistics office also revised Q2 growth to 3.5 percent y/y compared with an earlier estimated 3.3 percent.
GUS will publish revised estimates of GDP growth on November 28.
